Why do I need to visit the dentist?
Decay may or may not cause discomfort; even though
it doesnt hurt, the tooth is deteriorating.
Using higher magnification and powerful lighting,
it is easier to detect decay at an early stage
to prevent excessive tooth damage. When cavities
are small, they are much easier and less expensive
to treat. Also, mouth cancer can often be spotted
during its early stages by your dentist.
See our preventive
treatments page which includes early detection
of decay and gum disease, mouth cancer screening
and mouth guards for sports.
Your dentist can also provide restorative
and cosmetic treatments
to improve your smile.

How do I register
as a new NHS patient?
Naidu & Naidu is a private dental care practice
that offers some treatments on the NHS. If you
would like to register as a new NHS patient please
contact the practice. Please note:
- If a registered NHS patient allows 15 months
to pass without dental treatment, the NHS will
automatically remove the patient from our books.
- It is important that patients come for regular
check-ups to avoid lapses in NHS registration.
- We operate an in-house pain relief / emergency
service outside the NHS waiting lists. This
is a same day service and costs between £45-£65.
